AUNT DOTSIE'S NOODLE PUDDING
(Serves 4-6)

FROM DRORA ELAZAR

2 TSP. MELTED BUTTER
1/4 C. BREAD CRUMBS
1/2 C. BROWN SUGAR
4 EGGS
1/4 LB. BUTTER
1 LB. BROAD NOODLES
3/4 C. SUGAR
1 TSP. VANILLA
1 C. WHITE RAISINS
1 C. WARM MILK
12 OZ. COTTAGE CHEESE

 

 

MAKE A TOPPING OF BUTTER, BREAD CRUMBS AND BROWN SUGAR. SET ASIDE.

OVEN:350o

BOIL AND DRAIN NOODLES.
CREAM BUTTER AND EGGS
ADD MILK, SUGAR, VANILLA, CHEESE AND RAISINS.
ADD ALL TO COOKED NOODLES
PUT 1/2 THE MIXTURE INTO A GREASED GLASS BAKING DISH.
SPRINKLE ON 1/2 OF THE TOPPING.
POUR IN THE REST OF NOODLE MIXTURE.
COVER WITH THE REST OF THE TOPPING.
PRESS DOWN ANY RAISINS STICKING UP SO THEY WON'T BURN.
BAKE FOR ONE HOUR.
